Cosmetology
The State Board of Cosmetology Curriculum requirements for Cosmetology is 1500 hour course. It is a full time class Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a 30 min. lunch break. We have class every day from 8:30 am -9:30 am and have our clinical floor work from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. During the course we teach out of Milday Standard Cosmetology Book. Your hands on training consist of manicuring, pedicuring, including sculpturing nails, facials, make-up, scalp treatments, shampooing, conditioning, hair styling, wig dressing, extensions, hair coloring, hair bleaching, hair coloring with foils, all types of haircuts with shears, razors, and clippers, eye lashes, brow dying, brow arching, shop management, permanent waving, chemical relaxing, hair reconstructing, and professional people skill.

Meet Patricia Myers, she has had her Cosmetology license since 2006. She comes from a family generation of Hair Stylists. She began her career in the industry working next to her aunt and then branched out eight years later into her own beauty salon. Owning her own Salon for more than eight years is when she began to follow into the Instructor field. Once her Master Instructor course was done she bought the beauty school and took ownership. Now she has had over 4 years of teaching under her belt and still loves to be a leader.
Meet Chanda Barth
Chanda Barth is a Master Instructor at Main Attractions Beauty Academy. She comes with the knowledge behind the chair of 20 years of experience. She is also the founder and owner of Three Fold Salon located in Miami. Previously owner of the New Beginings located in the Miami Mini Mall. Master Educator experience since 2018. She brings a much business knowledge to our students with great patience delivery. We are so blessed to have her as an Instructor.
